Hi everyone. I'm Reuben, an ambitious hustler with a heart set on making an impact around the world. I've worn my hats in my life including, being a provincial cricket player, into being a cricket coach for a high school, working at Shoprite Supermarket during my time in High School, and now I'm an independent musician and content creator. My journey has been anything but easy, however, every challenge has fuelled my determination to break barriers. Music has been my way of speaking to the world, from motivational tracks like 'Lion's Heart' to powerful messages in 'Basa', advocating for those affected by the war in Gaza, to storytelling pieces like 'Broken World' where I emphasize how this wonderful world we live has been broken down by many negative vices. I have dedicated myself to organic growth, pushing my music through platforms like YouTube, Soundcloud, Audiomack, and Slikour OnLife. I'm also on a mission to take my craft to Japan, where I plan to work, gain financial independence, and also level up my musical craft in my spare time. I have just finished a B.COM degree majoring in Financial Management as well as Investment Analysis respectively and set to graduate on the 15th of April 2025. I am now working on securing a teaching position in Japan and my travelling interest in this country has been growing year by year in my ongoing 20s. At my core, I believe in eradicating poverty and homelessness. I do not have this ideal just for myself, but for those who struggle daily. Every step I take is toward building a future where I can uplift others. If anyone is able to resonate with my story, it means you believe in dreams, hard work and the concept of never giving up.
