Hello everyone my name is Rhea. I lived in the country side of Mindanao Philippines. I started working at the age of 8 years old earning 2$/day as a dishwasher on one of the resort in our town every day except during school days. That's when I become a breadwinner of my family. I work as a dishwasher during the day and at night I'm helping my mom making accessories made of beads like necklace and bracelets and I will walk around town to sell it on the following day. My father is alcoholic and didn't have a job he often ask money to me for alcohol drinks and cigarettes and whenever I don't give him something he will beat me up all night. I suffer physical abuse at the age of 8 years old. Physical and mental abuse. At the age of 15 I moved out away from home to the city to pursue my studies and I work part-time during the evening. I live alone but I usually send money back home for my siblings studies Every once in a while. Now I'm still undergraduate due to being sick. I was diagnosed with Grave disease and now it turns out to be a cancer of the throat and I have suffered heart condition. I was advice to see a doctor every month. I am no longer working since I'm no longer fit to work due to my diagnosis. I know there's a lot of good and kind people out there. Please help me travel for a cause for my treatments. If I get better this means the world to me.
