I am a 47 year old Christian called to the mission field of Haiti. I have been involved with the Haiti Mission for 3 years. This will be my 3rd trip to Haiti. I self-funded my other 2 mission trips but this year, I need help. During the year I send a monthly amount to help my child in the Haitian orphanage to get the things that she needs to survive and THRIVE. At Christmas (and any other time a member o f the mission team goes to Haiti) I send my child a care package. I also email my child. Many of my friend and family don't see why I like Haiti and why I want to go over and over but one thing I do know, not all are called to go on the mission field themselves, but we are all called to help those who are called and are willing to answer God's call to do mission trips.
