About Me

I was born in South Africa and grew up on a farm, surrounded by the simplicity of rural life. It wasn’t easy, but those humble beginnings shaped who I am today. Moving to the big city brought its own set of challenges, and life wasn’t always kind. I didn’t have many privileges growing up, and I had to learn to work hard and navigate the complexities of city life on my own. But every obstacle I faced taught me valuable lessons in perseverance, resilience, and the importance of giving back. Starting from the ground up, I’ve built my life by taking small steps forward, never taking anything for granted. I believe deeply in the power of hard work and determination, which is why I founded two NGOs—one focused on job creation and the other on rescuing and caring for dogs in Mauritius. These projects are close to my heart, as they allow me to make a tangible difference in the lives of others and help build stronger, more sustainable communities. While I’ve faced my own share of struggles, I’ve always kept my focus on changing the world for the better. I’ve learned that even when the odds are stacked against you, there’s always room to grow, to learn, and to help others along the way. My mission is to create opportunities, support those who need it most, and be a source of hope for others. I want to leave a legacy of kindness, compassion, and positive change. Every day is a new chance to make a difference, and I’m committed to doing just that.
