About Me
Hi, my name is Rizma, and I’m a 25-year-old accountant living in South Africa. I hold a three-year university qualification in Economics, Management, and Science. While I’ve worked hard to build a foundation for myself, the reality is that life here has become increasingly difficult. I’m currently the only one working in my household, and despite doing my best, it’s becoming harder to support my family in a meaningful and sustainable way. That’s why I’m striving to relocate to the UK, not just for a better job, but for the chance to grow, to access quality education, and to pursue a future where I can finally thrive. I hope to continue my studies in the UK, where a more diverse and inclusive educational environment would allow me to expand my career and opportunities, and eventually uplift the people who have depended on me most. But my story isn’t only about what I’m hoping to gain, it’s also about what I give. In my free time, I volunteer in my community and help tutor high school students in accounting and English. I know how it feels to struggle, to feel stuck or invisible, and I never hesitate to help someone else because I’ve been, and in many ways, still am — in their shoes. Helping others reminds me of who I am and why I keep going. When I need to breathe and reset, I turn to the things that bring me peace: playing the piano, hiking, painting, and creating designs for the gaming community. These are the small ways I stay grounded and keep my mindset strong through everything. At the heart of it all, I’m holding onto the belief that a better life is possible — not just for me, but for my family and the people I hope to help along the way. Your support isn’t just helping me move; it’s helping me move forward, with purpose. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It truly means the world
