I grew up in a small town in SD and have two grown boys who are in my profile pictures. I had a life filled with struggles and alcohol was my bandaid, it covered up the wound but didn't stop the bleeding. Growing up in environment of addiction and abuse I was a lost child and was searching for that missing link in my life. My alcohol addiction had a grip on me and it wasn't gonna let go. I was trapped in my own prison and I didn't see a way out. I tried so many different ways of escaping but couldn't find my own way out. Then in 2007 I was introduced to the bible at a faith based treatment program which was one of 9 attempts to break the chains of addiction. I began to read the bible and was in and out of different churches but still wasn't able to escape the prison in my head from all the traumatic experience during my childhood. I never gave up and one day I found the key to open the prison door and I was finally set free. Jesus Christ was the key and the answer to all my life struggles. Today I walk alongside Jesus Christ and he leads and directs my path. With my testimony and the freedom I found in Jesus Christ I want to help others who struggle by walking alongside and lead them to one who saves and holds the key to internal peace and everlasting life. That one is Jesus Christ. My passion is to disciple and spread the love of Jesus Christ. I want to be Gods hands and feet!! My goal is to attend twelve weeks of Discipleship training through YWAM, youth with a mission in Tyler, TX and then 3 months in the mission field. God has put it on my heart to help others in need and to use the gifts and talents he has blessed me with to achieve this.
