Seven years ago, I underwent brain surgery and long treatments that left me unable to walk and unable to live a normal life. I have been living in cancer care centers for years and depending entirely on the kindness of others. My dream is simple: to rebuild my life, support my family, and one day help other cancer patients in Sri Lanka who are suffering without hope. I am trying my best every day to stay positive, learn new skills online, and create a future where I can stand on my own feet again—literally and financially.
