Hi, my name is Shannon, and I am currently entering grade 10 in 2023. I am starting this campaign in hope to fundraise some money to support my next high school years as I want to continue my high school studies abroad. I have always wanted to study abroad but my passion for it really grew during the past 3 years, a reason why is that I find that the school system here along with the lifestyle in Mauritius doesn't suit me the best, and I am not happy here due to several factors. I would also love to discover new cultures and environments along with opening my mind more. I find myself to be very independent as I do most myself, I like cooking my own meals and learning about nutrition, I go on walks and runs 3 days per week every morning, and I also like doing strength training at home. My parents don't support me much in my day-to-day life nor my goals. I however tried discussing with them about what I want in the future, and they do not seem to be too supportive about it, but the one major setback that they have mentioned is the amount of money that it costs, and they do not think that it will be possible for me to study my next year's abroad.
