About Me
Hello, I'm Shawn Syre ("sy-ree"). My journey began in the scenic state of Washington, where I was raised in a family deeply connected to nature. My father owned a residential landscape company, and from a young age, I learned the value of hard work by helping create beautiful landscapes and sacred spaces in people's backyards. These experiences instilled in me a strong work ethic and an appreciation for nature's beauty. As a baby, I faced a critical moment when I was declared dead and hospitalized for lung failure, an experience that taught me the importance of life and family. Growing up, I was diagnosed with type one diabetes—a moment I vividly remember. This challenge taught me resilience and the power of a positive mindset. Family is at the heart of everything I do. My wife, Sarah, and I share a love for nature and animals, and together we nurture a home filled with love and laughter. Our children, Izabel and Izaak, inspire me daily with their creativity and kindness. Whether it's Izabel's artistic pursuits or Izaak's athletic endeavors, their passions remind me of the beauty in life's journey. Creatively, I've had the privilege of participating in around 20 shows, productions, and films, as well as exploring voiceover work on platforms like Instagram. These experiences have allowed me to share my passion for performance and storytelling. Professionally, I lead in the home improvement industry, offering solutions that enhance safety and quality of life for families across the state of Indiana. I believe in the power of community and the beauty of people. We're all experiencing a transformative time, striving for better health and stronger connections. My mission is to contribute positively to this awakening, helping to build communities that support holistic wellness. Opening up about my personal life is a significant step for me, as I'm usually quite private, but I see this as an opportunity to connect with others and remind us all that we're here for one another. Together, we can build the world we want to live in.
