Hello! I am a sophomore at Towson University studying Molecular Biology and Psychology. I plan to become a PA or a DO, but I haven't fully decided yet. I enjoy going outside, hanging out with friends, being active, and helping people. I have two little doggies, named Benji and Cooper, and 3 siblings. Last semester, I applied for the Gilman Scholarship to study abroad during spring break of 2026 and won. After I submitted my application, the program got pushed to summer 2026. Earlier this week I received an email saying I must find a program that starts before april 2026 to keep my scholarship, since mine got pushed to summer. This means I have 2 weeks to find and apply to a new program before the deadline, and it also means I have lost 6 months of time before I leave for study abroad. Without these 6 months I can no longer apply to any other financial aid since my trip is too soon. As the scholarship I won covers a chunk of the cost, I still need help with the rest as I no longer have to option of more financial aid. Any help or even advice would mean so much to me.
