Hi, my name is Sophie Griggs! I am an 11th grade student at Riverwood High School, and I have been selected to participate on a mission trip this summer. I have been selected through an application process by the company GoBeyond. I am so excited for the opportunity to be able to participate in helping rebuild the community in the British Virgin Islands after devastating Hurricane Irma in 2017. I previously traveled to Nicaragua last spring with my school, and we also helped build houses for the community. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I would love to have the opportunity to help others in need once again!
