About Me
Hi, I’m Tabitha, and I’m 39 years old. Right now, I’m living out-of-state, far from the familiar comforts of home, and facing the challenges of being unemployed. My move to a new state was meant to be a fresh start, a chance to embrace new opportunities and reinvent myself. Instead, I’ve found myself navigating a tough job market, trying to stay afloat amidst the uncertainties that come with unemployment. Being away from my home state has added an extra layer of difficulty. I miss my support network—friends and family who used to be just a short drive away. Now, I rely on phone calls and video chats to stay connected, but it’s not quite the same. Each day, I send out resumes, attend interviews, and hustle to make connections in this new place, all while dealing with the stress of financial uncertainty and the emotional toll of being away from home. Despite these challenges, I’m determined to stay positive. I’m learning new skills, volunteering locally, and exploring different career paths to keep moving forward. There are moments when it feels overwhelming, but I remind myself that every setback is a setup for a comeback. This journey, as difficult as it is, is also an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. I’m learning to embrace resilience, adapt to change, and stay hopeful. My story is one of perseverance, and while the road ahead is uncertain, I’m committed to navigating it with strength and optimism.
