My journey into adulthood took an unexpected turn, as the loss of my parents shortly after completing high school thrust me into a role of immense responsibility, particularly concerning the education of my younger brother. This pivotal moment prompted my decision to emigrate to the UK in search of stability and opportunities. While my life in the UK has offered me newfound prospects, the financial constraints associated with international travel have made it challenging to reconnect with my family back in Zimbabwe.
