About Me

As a child, I was drawn to the wonders of the natural world, especially the mysteries beneath the waves. This fascination led me to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Science, focusing on conservation, comparative animal physiology, and ecology and evolution, all rooted in my passion for marine biology. From exploring the shores of a nearby lake to diving into the depths of academic research, each experience deepened my connection to the marine world and fueled my commitment to its conservation. Now, as a science communicator, I strive to share this passion with others, making science accessible and inspiring curiosity in marine biology and conservation. Because for me, science isn't just a subject—it's a journey of discovery that connects us all. Looking ahead, I aim to return to graduate school to study marine macrofauna, particularly whales and sharks. Their majestic presence has captivated me since childhood, and I am driven to delve deeper into their behaviour and conservation to contribute meaningfully to their preservation.
