I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Boulder, my major is Psychology and I'm minoring in computer science. I was born and raised in Hartford, Ct in an area of poverty and crime. I watched my mom do her best to provide opportunities for me to become successful and have a great future. I have several goals set for myself, and one of the most important one's is graduating for the University of Boulder. I want to be a first-generation college student, so I can be an inspiration to those who come from low-income communities. As the great Nelson Mandela said "It always seems impossible until it's done"
