Hey! My name is Tessa Shimizu and I am currently in university for Childhood & Youth studies. I really think going to Zambia to volunteer with children will help me gain more knowledge, and provide me with lots of experience moving forward. Beyond its natural beauty, Zambia faces social and economic challenges that inspire me to contribute my time and skills to initiatives that promote sustainable development, and education. Volunteering in Zambia would not only allow me to immerse myself in a vibrant and welcoming culture but also to engage in hands-on efforts that contribute positively to the well-being of its people. The chance to forge connections, learn from a different perspective, and actively participate in fostering positive change makes volunteering in Zambia that much more intriguing.
