Tiye Bradley

About Me

Tiye Bradley is a Human Biology major at Hunter College and an aspiring OB/GYN dedicated to bridging the gap between clinical science and social advocacy. After a successful 6-year career in corporate marketing, she was called to follow her childhood dream of becoming a physician and made the brave decision to return to school to complete a second bachelor's degree in preparation for the rigorous medical school application process. As a pre-medical student and Women and Gender Studies minor, Tiye intends to champion reproductive justice and health equity for marginalized communities. She demonstrates her commitment to patient advocacy as a volunteer in the Mother-Baby Department at NYP Queens Hospital. She is a current member of the SNMA Region IX and a mentee in the CSMP 2025-2026 cohort, where she shadows physicians and is developing research centered on PCOS, uterine fibroids, and maternal morbidity within vulnerable populations. She is currently preparing to undergo Doula training to become a DONA-certified birth doula, in hopes of addressing the urgency of the maternal mortality crisis. She views doula work as an immediate expression of her lifelong commitment to reproductive justice and community healing. Beyond science and healthcare, Tiye is a passionate dancer and writer. She spends her free time taking commercial dance classes in Manhattan and writing blog posts. She enjoys expressing her unique fashion perspective through style and cosmetics, and experiencing new cultures through art, food, and music.
