About Me
Bursting with enthusiasm and a deep-rooted passion for softball, I hail from the charming town of Beardstown, Illinois. My love affair with the game began at the tender age of six, and there was no looking back. I've been fortunate enough to win the Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run competition in Peoria, Illinois, marking the beginning of an exhilarating journey through the world of softball. My time with the Beardstown, Illinois District 17 League has been nothing short of spectacular. I proudly clinched two Illinois Little League State Championships with my phenomenal team, sharing unforgettable moments that etched lasting memories into my heart. As a testament to our dedication and teamwork, my junior high softball team fought fiercely and secured 4th place in the Illinois Elementary Association State Games. Venturing beyond the local leagues, I joined two USSSA travel teams and had the opportunity to be a guest player on many others throughout West Central Illinois. These experiences broadened my horizons, allowing me to forge invaluable friendships and learn from a variety of teammates and coaches. Each game, each practice, has been a stepping stone, refining my skills and strengthening my resolve. As an only child, the camaraderie I've found in softball has been my treasure. Surrounded by a loving family of numerous cousins and amazing friends, I've discovered that family is not just about blood, but also about the bonds you build on and off the field. The discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that softball has instilled in me continue to shape my journey, fueling my energetic spirit and driving my ambitions. The diamond is my second home, and every game is another chapter in my ever-evolving story. Love, Ava!!
