I will be going on a study abroad trip to the Cayman Islands in June. We will be scuba diving every day and be helping restore the coral reef ecosystem and tracking invasive species. I will post updates on my trip to my Tumblr account. The trip is a 400 level biology credit for me. I will spend 8 days on Little Cayman Island helping the Central Caribbean Marine Institue (CCMI) with their ongoing research projects. Since 1998 the CCMI has been active and well-established on Little Cayman Island. It is globally recognized as a leader in the research, education, and outreach efforts for the future sustainability of coral reefs.
