John y Yo, Valentina, trabajamos juntos hace muchos años en nuestra ciudad, México. Además de ser como hermanos somos socios, Jonathan es maestro de Yoga y también Guía espiritual en la fundación Cisne negro, Yo soy maestra de teatro social para la Sedu de la CDMX, y ahora con la asociación Juvenil Barnabitas en Barcelona, trabajo con niños en barrios marginados y utilizo el teatro como herramienta artística para detonar un cambio en la convivencia y el comportamiento de los niños. Juntos nos consideramos la Cia teatral Instante Teatro (digo nos consideramos por que aun no estamos constituidos). Construimos proyectos hacia la proclamación de derechos humanos, artísticamente, son historias de ciencia ficción que representan el problema en interacción humana y proponen una solución en la comunicación de los personajes Nuestro debut como compañía fue la Puesta en escena DESIERTA; Sobre cuatro personajes en extremos de supervivencia, y cómo el relacionarse entre ellos puede ser una respuesta al futuro en una realidad apocalíptica, toca el tema de desaparecidos en México y en la dictadura militar argentina. Escribimos, dirigimos, producimos, gestionamos todo el proceso creativo hasta el último momento y lo hacemos muy bien! Desierta: . en México esto es posible hacerlo en foros, pero queremos que nuestro mensaje llegue más lejos. Esto nos llevó a la investigación tanto artística como social y creemos urgente la recuperación de espacios públicos y la re proclamación de la libre expresión. Trabajando en el festival OZOMATL, en la Ciudad de México que trae a artistas internacionales de circo y teatro de calle a representar a las calles de nuestra ciudad, nos dimos cuenta de lo que necesitaba nuestro mensaje… ser liberado. Dimos con algo mágico, y luego.. con una escuela, una escuela... de CIRCO! y artes dramáticas, danza, mimo.. .. . que hace trabajo social, dirige a sus estudiantes a la autogestión y al trabajo en la calle!! tanto, que se llama el Centro de Artes Urbanas, la CAU, está en Granada, España y hace ya más de dos años que comenzamos la aventura de acercarnos a nuestro deseado destino! . Hace dos años yo vine a España, tenía el plan de establecerme y estudiar, hacer la avanzada no? siempre imaginamos que Jon me alcanzaría y al estudiar juntos podríamos potenciar nuestra creación en conjunto, lo que no sabíamos era cómo se complicarían las cosas y cómo ESO sería el impulso que deseábamos. Al llegar no fué fácil tramitar mi residencia, a pesar de tener un abuelo español y tener "el derecho" (si fuera justo decir que alguien tiene más, un derecho que otro) de obtener una residencia por arraigo familiar, no fue hasta año y medio después que esto sucedió. Las leyes españolas son muy duras con respecto a migrantes en general y se castiga con multas extraorbitantes a aquellos que quisieran dar trabajo (por ejemplo) a alguien "ilegal". No fue fácil... pero hay quien la tienen peor.. aquí estamos, ya instalada... a través de una larga y ruda aventura mi amigo siempre estuvo conmigo... a pesar de la distancia nos sentíamos cerca e incluso continuamos nuestro trabajo hacia adelante; Se llama CARBONERAS y está en proceso de investigación, Habla de la represión como una sola, de la guerra como la misma, siempre, de la instrucción hacia el miedo, de la desinformación y la manipulación….es de brujas y cuenta historias de muchos seres humanos, la mayoría mujeres, a través de 5 personajes principales, que representan diferentes problemáticas antiguas y actuales, está cargada de ciencia ficción y está situada en varios momentos en el tiempo, siendo uno solo.. Esto es apenas una de las tantas sorpresas que tendremos para ustedes...pensamos realizar el montaje en este año de viaje y ustedes serán parte del proceso creativo y podrán ver todo lo que lleva a la puesta en escena. John vino el verano pasado y hemos estudiado varias posibilidades… y luego .. Tenemos el orgullo de anunciarles que está todo listo para que él venga a vivir aquí este Agosto, llega el día 23, y le han aceptado el visado de estudiante hace una semana (el día de mi cumpleaños) para no tener que pasar las precariedades que tuve que vivir antes de obtener mi residencia. Ahora llegamos al punto: Queremos estudiar juntos y como siempre, lo gestamos desde LA NADA: somos personas de familias humildes y soñadores fuertes... con un vasto ímpetu de justicia, tenemos FE a borbotones... Siempre hemos salido adelante por nuestro propio pié y hoy, que nuestra empresa es así de grande, queremos pisar bien fuerte y para eso necesitamos otros pies... NuestroS DestinoS: Nuestro GRAN OBJETIVO es una escuela maravillosa en la ciudad de Granada La CAU, el Centro de Artes Urbanas donde se enseñan disciplinas circenses a la par de artes dramáticas, danza, clown, mimo... y un montón más de herraminetas que, recibiendo en conjunto no dudamos que nos harán crecer como artistas individuales y cómo compañia! Somos personas realistas y hemos conseguido todo lo que hemos logrado no sin ningún percance... MUCHAS COSAS PUEDEN SALIR MAL! por eso es que somos consideramos que si no llegásemos a pasar la prueba de nuestra primera opción, pues tendremos una segunda y una tercera y una cuarta... o cómo nos gusta llamarla a lo Angeles de Charlie... EL PLAN B Les hablaremos de las otras escuelas que tenemos vistas apenas tengamos un poco de tiempo. nuestro objetivo es claro y por mucho que nos entusiasme todo lo que podríamos aprender en esta escuela, el aprendizaje no empieza y acaba con ella… tenemos muchos planes..
