I am a Current College student attending Portland State University where I am working towards a Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice/Criminology. l currently work with children at the Helen Gordon Child Development Center as a teacher assistant! I also am an active Board Member of Soul River Inc and was a youth participant for 5 seasons leading up to becoming a board member! Those around me describe me as talkative,, courageous, optimistic and more as the list goes on! I have been involved in social advocacy, volunteer in my community and am actively a part of social Justice and leadership opportunities. Through my background in leadership and academics, I have taken risks to further my education to later on have the skills and knowledge to be able to serve my local communities!
