Santa Barbara City College has been offering study abroad programs for more than 44 years with programs in approximately 20 countries, including Spain, Italy, England, Germany, and France, as well as several destinations in Central and South America, and Vietnam, Thailand, Rwanda, China, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, and the former Soviet Union. SBCC Study Abroad programs are faculty-led and therefore programs change every year. The subject specific programs allow faculty to bring their lectures to life with relevant excursions in the destination country. With an emphasis on diversity and affordability, SBCC Study Abroad strives to offer programs to the diverse SBCC student body, as well as students from other institutions.
